If i get the motorola c290 sprint nextel version, can i use it to activate a boost mobile account?

If i get the motorola c290 sprint nextel version, can i use it to activate a boost mobile account? I do know boost mobile makes a phone that is the motorola c290 and it is the same thing, and that's where my question arises from.|||Boost Mobile Unlimited plan is pretty awesome.

How does monthly unlimited talk, text, web and walkie-talkie sound to you? You can stay in touch any way you want, any time you want. Wow pretty cool. It doesn鈥檛 require contracts or initial credit checks when you sign up.

The primary monthly plan offers unlimited calling, messaging, and Web browsing, but you can also choose to pay by the minute or by the day. All plans feature push-to-talk services. Without being tied down by a contract, this is ultimate option in case you want it all.|||Yes, but not the walkie talikie Boost unlimited. There are two Boost mobiles. Your c290 is for the older non walkie talkie Boost mobile called Unlimited by Boost.

Right now there is a special: Activation and first month is free. They have a $50 nationwide unlimited talk/text/web plan very similar to walkie talkie Boost.

Call 1-877-TLK-MORE and wait till you hear the Unlimited by Boost prompt, get the operator and ask for the FREE MONTH. That is the magic promo phrase. Tell them I want the free month/free activation special.

You might have to take an area code from one of 13 states including Ca, Nev, Ga, Tx, Tn, FL, Lo, Miss, Ok, Hi, Ala, Ark, NC to get it.

You can put Sprint phones on the network too by transferring the account to the Sprint phone. You can not open an account with a Sprint phone though. This deal is good till Sept 4. If it turns out good, please tell your friends.

Unlimited by Boost is not Walkie talkie Boost it is two different systems. One runs on Sprint, the other runs on Nextel.
