The phone does not have USA software. T-mobile cannot help anymore since it was not purchased from it. Motorola will not help since the phone was made for retail outside the USA. The US uses a different GSM frequency then the rest of the world.
The problem could also lay in the SIM card being used. Is the one your using made for the US?
