How do I block a phone number from calls and texts on a Motorola Cingular phone?

I'm really ticked off at some people and need to block their number from texting me and calling me. I'm using a Motorola L2 w/ Cingular service.|||I'm sorry, you can't. You can get your number changed, but there is a $36 fee.|||you can text online. search text messaging and several sites will come up.|||No, you can't block numbers on Cingular or most other carriers. You might be better off changing your phone number.
