How do I transfer files between a Motorola L6 and my PC?

I just bought a Motorola L6 that came with a USB data cable and the Motorola Mobile Phone Tools software, but it doesnt work. Is there a free software or a driver or any way to transfer files between my Motorola L6 and my PC. mainly just ringtones. I do not have bluetooth on my computer.|||uninstall mobile phone tools and restart you pc, install after and try new.
