Would like to use these over water and keen to know if they'll survive the occasional submersion in water (what about sea water), and would they need drying out after such an event.
Motorola doesn't claim them to be waterproof, but most retailers describe them as shock and splash proof.
If you have any expericence with these radios, please feel free to comment.|||A dunk in the drink is a heck of a lot more than a splash. I would count on them on not being waterproof to the degree you want.
