How do I put a java game onto a motorola pebl?

I have tried putting the jar file onto the phone using a file transfer protocol but that wouldn't even transfer. I've tried using the push service, but that insists on a business card that the phone can't read. Is there some software from motorola that I need instead of generic bluetooth software?|||not sure
