Sim Card work from motorola v195s to motorola razr?

I'm planning on buying a new phone. Probably from ebay to avoid buying a new plan. Can I just buy a new phone, probably the motorola Razr and put the sim card that was from my motorola v195s inside the Motorola razr?|||That will work as long as the new phone is an unlocked GSM phone,

Hope that helps.|||1. You need to buy a phone from Ebay that is the same service provider as your V195s. I'm guessing T-Mobile.

2. You need to buy a phone and then obtain the Subsidy Lock code from the company the phone was originally intended for. Don't use the services on the web as the service provider will likely provide it for free.

3. Buy an "unlocked phone" from ebay.

4. I really don't recommend 1-3 as those phones don't likely have a warranty from the carrier or the manufacturer. Some "unlocked phones" are from other countries and Motorola's warranties do not transfer generally between countries. It's a buyer's beware situation. If the phone you purchase is an AT%26amp;T phone the warranty follows the phone as long as the phone was originally activated on a line of service a year or less ago. If you want to check, get the IMEI number from the ebay seller and then call AT%26amp;T to see how much warranty is left on the phone. Motorola's warranty is only with the original purchaser.

5. Purchase an unlocked phone of your choice from Motorola directly. http://www.store.motorola.com. You're going to pay a little more but you'll have a warranty and your phone will be unlocked and have the settings to use on any service provider of your choosing.|||carkid210133, I'm jealous over your Motorola RAZR. That's what I want
