Every time i hook up my motorola krave to my computer it wont recognize it. The phone starts charging when it hooks up but i cant put the pictures off my memory card to the computer and my computer pics to the phone. How do i fix this problem. I tried everythingg trust mee.|||Connect the phone and go to Settings %26amp; Tools-%26gt;Tools-%26gt;USB Mass Storage. Now the memory card will pop up as a removable drive and you can transfer back and forth|||You need to have the drivers for your phone installed on your computer (just as you'd need the driver for a printer or a display or a jump drive) so that your computer knows WHAT has been attached to it.

It's a page on Motorola's web site where you can download the drivers (which are free). If you're running a 32-bit operating system (Windows XP or Vista 32), then you'll want the first set of drivers (in bold with a tiny arrow pointing at it, below the circular drawing of a USB connector); if you're running any sort of a 64-bit operating system, then you'll need the second one.

Install those on your computer (NOT on your phone), and restart your system. Your computer will generally be able to recognize your phone at that point AS a phone.

With some phones, you may have to switch it into a "USB mode" or "mass storage mode" - the other option is usually a "modem mode" (most cell phones can be used as modems to supply internet to a computer with a little setup), but since all you want is for your computer to "see" your phone, the USB mode should work just fine. If you don't know how to do that, you can also download the Krave's user manual from Motorola's web site for free.|||AT%26amp;T is selling sandisk memory card USB readers for like $9 right now. Do yourself a favor, go buy one of those. Your life will be much easier :)
