Can a motorola blue tooth be used on a non motorola phone?

I have an LG Chocolate and a Motorola bluetooth if it is compatible, how do i make it work?|||Yes a motorola bluetooth can be used for a non-motorola phone :)

*Before it can work with yur phone, turn your bluetooth off, once off hold down the power button untill the light stays on or blinks on and off rapidly (this is detection mode)

*While this is on your LG has to be in search mode for your blue tooth,to do this: Go to%26gt;menu%26gt;settings%26gt;connection settings%26gt;blue tooth%26gt;search for device.

*That should bring up your bluetooththat you've put in detection mode, when you choose the blue tooth your phone will ask for a pass code (for protection purposes) from the factory its usually{0000or 1234or 9999} if not these then it has been changed before (cant help there srry)

*On your LG Chocolate: Go to%26gt;menu%26gt;settings%26gt;connections%26gt;bluetooth%26gt;a鈥?turn on)

*This should allow it to work

Ps. i had to do this for my lg dare
